This week Patrick caught the tummy bug that's been going around my centre.
Poor buggar. I'm finally over my cold. I hope I don't catch that awful
tummy bug. Jocelyn had a baby girl over six pounds and named her Rain.
I'm very happy she's had a girl! Friday night we didn't do much of anything
because Patrick's tummy's still a bit delicate. Saturday we lazed around
the house most of the day as well. Saturday night was the big K Rd Karnival
Parade! We had VIP seats and wristbands. We didn't go to the after parties
though. :P That bit bigtime.
The alien was the coolest thing of the entire parade. It rained the
entire time we were out there. The VIP seats were empty because they
weren't under cover.

We don't know how to spell capowera.
The Illicit shop is pretty cool, and we're both excited about the new
Misery Boutique that will be opening up beside it!!!!!!! I love that
misery illicit stuff! it's pretty cool.

I told the girl I wanted a picture of her giving us a lolly. Really,
I just wanted a picture of a maori girl with a moko (moko being tattooed
chin/lips) There was a guy in army gear with his face entirely tattooed,
but I was thrown by the army get up.

Patrick's school Media Design was a sponsor of the K road Karnival Parade
- and it kind of sucked, but we took a picture of it because that was
the thing to do . . . right?

The computer's acting up - it keeps shutting down and restarting all
the time. I hope we get that sorted out.
Less than two weeks and we're home!!!!!!!!!!! We're going to the sunset
grill in kits on friday december 17th - the night we arrive, so show
up for patrick's birthday and to say hello since we've been MISSING
YOU MILLIONS!!!!! (admission is a can of food or dry goods)
We've finished up our christmas shopping today which is a great relief.
Happy Birthday Gord and Ken!!
I'm tired, can you tell? I'll sign off
Ta
Mom April
