New Zealand

When I first found out that I was going to New Zealand I felt excited
and couldn’t wait until Spring Break. The 20th was when I left
and I got here the 22nd.

Muriwai Beach has black sand, but Piha has more and Lion Rock is there.
Maori people think it is sacred.

There are a lot of animals at Auckland Zoo. My favourite animal is the
rhinocerous.

We spent the night at a youth hostel and squashed the evil blood sucking
creepish bugs called mosquitoes.
At Cape Reinga there was a lighthouse.
At Ninety Mile Beach I fell in the water and almost got taken away.

On the 28th here it is the 27th there and at first I though we weren’t
having an Easter hunt.

When we went to the top of this really big tower I felt sick. It’s
called the Sky Tower.

There was a whole bunch of building art and I really liked it.

We went to Waitomo Caves and there were green glow worms.

The next day we stayed home and painted on canvas.

The Zorb is a big ball outside a small ball and you ride inside the
small and there’s a choice between wet and dry. I went to wet
with my brother Dan and my Aunty Rose.

We went to a Maori place and I really like the geysers and really hot
mud.

I like New Zealand.
